Upcoming Autograph Signings with the Buffalo Sabres

A quick reminder that there are two scheduled autograph sessions at Dave and Adam’s Store! Remember that tickets are on a first-come, first-serve basis, and that there are a limited number available. Also, tickets must be purchased in one of the store locations. Enjoy meeting more of the Buffalo Sabres team!

January 3rd: At the Sheridan Store from 7:00-9:00 PM, meet Daniel Paille!

January 13th: At the Transit Store from 3:00-5:00 PM, meetÂ Jochen Hecht!

Drew Stafford Autograph Signing Tonight

This is the last scheduled autograph signing at the store until late December or January, so make sure to meet Stafford tonight!

Brian Campbell: Mmm, Good!

Special thanks go to Brian Campbell, who appeared at Dave and Adam’s Store last night! Meeting a 2007 All-Star was a wonderful experience, and the mob outside did that fact a lot of justice. Our collection of Buffalo Sabres signed items is now enormous, and still growing! Who would not want to have a ton of pictures and pucks?! Apparently, those anti-sweating commercials worked for Campbell: Not a bead of sweat could be seen on anyone! Besides, with those “radical” views about hyper-hidrosis, Soupy might have had an absolute fit! Anyways, we were very happy to have had the opportunity to meet one of the Buffalo Sabres’ best defensemen! Thanks again, Campbell!

Again, we would like to thank Chris S. and Dave Z. of Dave and Adam’s Store! The next autograph signing will feature Drew Stafford on Thursday, November 29th, from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM. This will be at the Sheridan location (Map), and tickets must be purchased ahead of time. See you all there, and also make sure to catch the Sabres playing tonight at 7:30 PM!

Sabres (4) vs. Canadiens (1): Victory At Last!

Try, try again, and you might just get rewarded! The Sabres came out flying in the first period, and never looked back. For the first time in fifteen games, Buffalo scored the first goal… And the second… And the third! Tonight was a night of teamwork and whole-hearted hockey. Checks were finished, at least three lines were obviously working together, and no one gave up. There were a few blips here and there, but this was Sabres hockey at its very best! The most important player tonight was Clarke MacArthur, who scored two of the Sabres’ four goals. He never faltered, and had his entire heart in the game. Also of honorable mentionÂ is Thomas Vanek, who made up for some unreasonable penalties over the past two days. He came alive, setting up some amazing goals and showing why he is a member of the Buffalo Sabres. Daniel Paille and Drew Stafford also scored for the team, helping to create the most successful first period of the season, and probably the most well-played game since October. A win was bound to happen, and this team poured their hearts in to earn one tonight!

The Sabres will next play on Wednesday, November 21, at 7:30 PM against the Ottawa Senators. If they play like they did tonight, we can just imagine the outcome!

Also, a reminder that Brian Campbell will be appearing at Dave and Adam’s Store on November 20th from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM. This will take place at the Transit location (Map). Tickets are on a first come, first serve basis, and must be purchased at one of the store’s locations. This is a wonderful opportunity to meet an NHL All-Star and one of the best defensemen on the Sabres! See you there!

Meeting Paul Gaustad and Mike Ryan

A special thanks to Paul Gaustad and Mike Ryan for appearing at Dave and Adam’s Store tonight! Fans of all ages lined up outside the store for a chance to meet the players. No comments were made about one “glaring” characteristic, which was all for the best. It was another wonderful experience for all Sabres fans, and we really appreciated the time that Gaustad and Ryan took to sign autographs. If only I could have realized that they were standing…

One surprise was the arrival of Sabretooth, who made for a photograph’s dream! Not only were the young fans excited; Indeed, we all had a smile for the Buffalo mascot! Pictured on the far left is the man behind the scenes at Sabres Center Ice, my dad!

As always, a special thanks goes to Dave Z. (pictured above on the far right) and Chris S. of Dave and Adam’s Store. The next autograph signing featuring Brian CampbellÂ will be on November 20th, from 7:00 to 9:00 PM at the Transit store location (Map). Tickets must be purchased at one of the store locations, but please remember that there is a limited quantity available on a first come, first serve basis. Sabres mayhem may not have hit quite yet, but there is no guarantee that tickets can be purchased at the signing. We hope to see many fans there!

On a final note, we built up quite an appetite on the drive over to the Sheridan store, and decided to try out Molinaro’s New York Style PizzeriaÂ & CaffeÂ at 2776 Sheridan Drive. This is located in the same mall, on the opposite corner of the building. What to say? The pizza was amazing! Salads, subs, and other speciality meals are also offered, and Molinaro’s is easily the best place to eat in the area around Dave and Adam’s Store on Sheridan Drive. Make sure to stop in for a great meal at one of the next signings!

Close Encounters of the Pominville-Thibault Kind

Thanks to Jocelyn Thibault and Jason Pominville who appeared at Dave and Adam’s Store last night to meet many Sabres fans! The group that waited outside was pretty large, probably owing to the previous evening’s unbelieveable overtime win. It was an awesome experience, and we hope that everyone who attended had a great time! Thanks again to the players for spending a little time with the most dedicated sports fans!

A Close-Up with Peters and Paetsch

A special thanks to Andrew Peters and Nathan Paetsch for meeting some excited fans at Dave & Adam’s Store! Our collection of signed pictures and pucks is not quite complete yet, but is starting to resemble something of a true Sabres fan. This was also a great opportunity for some of the younger fans to spend a little time with their favorite players. While standing in line, one of the prime things to do was to work on those all-important jersey reading skills! Most of the youngsters could not contain their excitement when they got to the front of the line, and it was wonderful to see such a diverse fan base. Thanks for your time, Nathan and Andrew!

The next autograph session at Dave & Adam’s Store Sheridan location will be on October 16th, featuring Pominville and Thibault. Make sure to purchase tickets soon, as they are not expected to last long! These events are an excellent way for the fans to meet the Sabres players. More signings will be announced throughout the season, and we will be sure to keep everyone updated! We hope to see Peters and Paetsch again soon, and wish them the best during the upcoming season!

Shoulder-to-Shoulder with Kaleta and Mair

Thank you, Adam Mair and Patrick Kaleta for your time tonight at Dave and Adam’s Store! We really enjoyed being able to take a few photos, and getting our mountain of items signed! It can not have been the most exciting night for you guys, signing picture after picture and puck after puck. All of your fans appreciate the time you spent with us this evening!

It is a completely different experience to see the Sabres outside of the hockey world, yet one that is very much appreciated. It was nice to see a mixed group of fans coming together to support the players! Our raucous Sabres obsessions were satisfied.

The next appearance by the Sabres at the store will be on October 2nd, from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM. Andrew Peters and Nathan Paetsch will be in attendance! Tickets are on sale now, and we already purchased ours! Meeting the players has been a very rewarding experience, and we are looking forward to meeting more of the players throughout the season. Hopefully this will be a way for fans of all ages to meet their favorite players in person! Thanks again to Adam and Patrick for their time, and we hope to see them again at Dave and Adam’s Store! Best of luck during the season!

To make the offseason seem a little shorter, our friends at Dave & Adam’s Store will be having several autograph sessions with various Sabres players over the next month!
