Last night was kind of expected, judging by how Buffalo played over the weekend. A lot of fans and journalists have the general view of trying to figure out how to “fix” the team. Sure, the injured players have taken a toll on the team morale and playing style. No one can deny that this is a completely different team from last season. This is simply an issue of the Buffalo Sabres coming together and generating that on-ice chemistry that makes them unstoppable. Do they still have it? Of course: Just look at their recent wins against the Hurricanes and the Sharks. This team can take on any challenge. Perhaps this season is not “the” season we all wanted it to be, but it is a far cry from a full disaster. A disaster would be getting stuck with a 70s mustachio! Beat him down, Peters, beat him down!
